Public Holidays
Muslim Holidays are celebrated in almost every Middle East
country. Although every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of
these dates, the Muslim calendar is calculated from the actual sighting
of the moon. Accordingly, the observation of certain feast-days
may vary from place to place by one or two days. As a general rule
each feast-day will fall eleven days earlier than on the previous
year.
